Senior Sales Associate

Job Description:

• Customer Interaction:
  Serve customers in person, over the phone, and via email by selling metal stock products and meeting customer needs.

• Prospecting:
  Engage in prospecting and cold calling to attract new customers.

• Compensation:
  Hourly wage plus commission.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Demonstrate consistency, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
• Answer phones and handle customer inquiries.
• Exhibit excellent telephone sales skills.
• Communicate effectively via email.
• Perform other sales and office-related tasks as needed.
• Make outbound calls to prospective customers.
• Manage and maintain the current customer base.
• Proactively identify customer needs with a sense of ownership and care.
• Verify customer purchase orders and create matching sales orders.
• Communicate openly with other departments.
• Enter notes in CRM for all interactions with prospects and current customers.
• Follow up on open quotes.
• Contact vendors for pricing and special orders as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with pricing and inventory stock levels.

$33.00 per hour
